WV Technologies has been awarded 2023 Registered Supplier of the Year at the Supply Nation, Supplier Diversity Awards, Connect 2023 Gala Awards Dinner, which took place on 8 August on Gadigal Land at the ICC Sydney.
The Gala Awards Dinner opened in a powerful celebration of Blak excellence with over 1,200 guests. Hosted by media and entertainment giants Narelda Jacobs and Luke Carroll, the night celebrated the success of the supplier diversity community and recognised outstanding individuals and organisations at the Supplier Diversity Awards, with the winners announced throughout the course of the evening.
“We believe in the power of social enterprise. To provide high-quality goods and services and make a difference in our community,” said Director and Co-Founder Kurt Gruber.
“WV Technologies is an IT Lifecycle company and social enterprise. We can supply and install new IT equipment, but where we lead our class is the safe, secure and responsible handling of IT equipment disposals. We were the first fully NAID-certified company in Australia and can handle any security classification, including up to Top-Secret,” said Kurt.
“We are also a proudly an Indigenous-owned certified social enterprise. As a social enterprise, we have helped change the life trajectories of over 90 young Aboriginal men and women and impacted their families by providing employment opportunities in our company and through our holistic programs, which help them overcome barriers to success in the workplace,” said Kurt.
