WV Tech Wins Supply Nation’s
‘Indigenous Exporter of the Year’ 2025
On Thursday August 21, WV Tech attended the annual Supply Nation Gala Awards Dinner, where Indigenous businesses from across Australia are recognised for their contributions to the Indigenous business sector. During the gala, WV Tech was honoured as the winner of the Indigenous Exporter of the Year Award for 2025.
As a IT Asset lifecycle services company, processing e-waste comes with the territory. We work to recover critical minerals like copper, silver, gold, and palladium in our sites across Australia, which are then recycled through our international partners and recirculated back into goods across the supply chain. But it isn’t just precious metals – we also export used IT equipment and electronic parts, contributing to the circular economy and keeping them out of landfills.
Expanding into international markets through exports has not only expanded capability in Australia, but it has also allowed us to build strong and long-lasting relationships with new international partners.

Ounces of Gold recovered.
Ounces of Silver recovered
Tonnes of pure copper.
The volume of precious metals recovered is staggering and is not only a sustainability win for WV Tech but also culturally. Recovering precious metals from e-waste is better for the environment and means we’re reusing what we already have.
Aboriginal culture is to be custodians of the land and by recycling precious metals and keeping more from being extracted, we are protecting country in a modern way – one that our Indigenous team feel proud of.
“Winning this award is a testament to the adaptability, strength, and innovation of the entire WV Tech Team.”
