What is NAID AAA
NAID AAA Certification is the independent audit of the data sanitisation and destruction processes, procedures and activities. It ensures compliance with all known data protection laws through scheduled and surprise audits by trained, accredited security professionals and fulfils organisations regulatory due diligence obligations. NAID AAA has replaced the ASIO T4 accreditation, so you are assured the due diligence of your IT disposal partner has been undertaken to the highest standards. Information Security Manual
The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Information Security Manual (ISM) outlines policies and guidelines to help government agencies and organisations protect their information and systems from cyber threats.
Control 0840 of the ISM mandates the use of a NAID AAA certified with PSPF endorsed service for media destruction. For more information, go to the Information Security Manual.
Australian Privacy Principles
The Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) govern how organizations handle personal information. They provide a set of rules for collecting, using, disclosing, storing and disposing personal data.
To minimise risk and take reasonable steps to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and APP11, The Office of the Information Commissioner recommends that all entities follow the Information Security Manual (ISM) as published by the Australian Signals Directorate and the Australian Cyber Security Centre. The ISM explicitly requires a NAID AAA Certified disposal company for sensitive information.

Protective Security Policy Framework
The Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) Security Classification framework applies to any entity that handles sensitive Federal Government data, including private organisations and/or State or Local Government entities. For more information, visit https://www.protectivesecurity.gov.au/.

Certified Blancco Erasure
Blancco is the industry standard in data erasure and mobile device diagnostics software. Blancco erasure allows for the reuse of assets instead of physically destroying them while ensuring compliance with local and global data privacy requirements. Erasure, with verification, is approved under the Australian Government Information Security Manual.
NSA, NAID and PSPF Approved Disintegrator
Our Disintegrator is approved to destroy SSD's, HDD's, USBs, CD's, Paper and other media to 2.38mm, which exceeds the ISM’s requirements of below 3mm for TOP SECRET classification. This can be undertaken at our site or our clients site.
NSA, NAID and PSPF Approved Degausser
Our degausser is approved to destroy magnetic media to TOP SECRET classification as per the ISM.
